Bangladesh begin the year 2022 with an away series in New Zealand — here’s the full FTP with the fixtures and schedule list for the Bangladesh men’s team in the ongoing year.

Bangladesh won 20 of their 46 international matches in 2021, including a lone Test win against Zimbabwe in July, to give them a Win/Loss ratio of 0.800. Here’s how the schedule for Bangladesh Cricket looks like in 2022.

Away series v New Zealand

January 1, 1st Test, Bay Oval
9 January, 2nd Test, Christchurch


The Bangladesh side will play hosts to Afghanistan, who are expected to play three ODIs and two T20I matches in the country, the Afghanistan Cricket Board had earlier announced.

March to April

Series v South Africa

18 March, 1st ODI, TBC
20 March, 2nd ODI, TBC
23 March, 3rd ODI, TBC
30 March, 1st Test, TBC
7 April, 2nd Test, TBC

June to July

The Bangladesh side will travel to West Indies in the months of June and July to play two Tests, three ODI matches and three T20 Internationals. Bangladesh have traveled to West Indies for a bilateral series only five times in the history of the game, with their last tour coming in 2018.


Bangladesh will host Zimbabwe for a two-match Test series. Zimbabwe will also play three ODIs and as many T20Is on the tour.


Bangladesh will be one of the countries that will participate in the Asia Cup, which is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka.


Bangladesh will go to Ireland for their first-ever Test meeting with Ireland. They will then also play three ODIs and three T20 Internationals in the country.

October to November

The side will take part in the Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia. The Bangladesh unit had qualified for the second round in the 2021 edition but were unable to win a game in the Super 12 stage.


India will host Bangladesh for two Tests and three ODI matches at the end of 2022.
