The ACC Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup starts on June 12 in Hong Kong – here’s the schedule for the tournament, including the full fixtures list and match timings for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023.

The inaugural edition of the Women’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup will see eight teams fighting it out for glory. The tournament will be hosted in Hong Kong with all matches to be played at the Mission Road Ground in Kowloon.

The Men’s version of this tournament has been played since 2013, with a total of four editions taking place so far. This is the first time the Women’s version of this tournament will take place.

 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023: Format and Participating Teams

Eight teams will participate in the tournament. Originally, five ‘A’ teams of the full-member nations – India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Thailand, and the top three Asian associate Asian nations – Hong Kong, Malaysia, and UAE were supposed to feature in the tournament.

However, Thailand ‘A’ have withdrawn from the event citing visa issues and have been replaced by Nepal.

Group A: India A, Pakistan A, Nepal, Hong Kong
Group B: Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Malaysia, UAE

The format is a simple one, with the top two teams from each group after the league stage qualifying for the semi-finals, followed by the final.

ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023: Schedule and full fixtures list

The tournament starts on June 12 with Sri Lanka ‘A’ taking on UAE and will conclude with the Final on June 21. All matches will be played at the Mission Round Ground with games starting at 9 AM and 2 PM local time.
