Pakistan clinched the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe 2-1. Here's what their win in the final match at Bulawayo has done to the ICC Men's ODI team rankings.
Pakistan didn’t have the likeliest of starts in the series after losing the rain-hit first ODI by 80 runs following a top-order collapse. In the second ODI, debutant Abrar Ahmed helped the tourists to turn things around. Abrar’s 4-33 bowled out the home side for 145. In the process, he became the second Pakistan spinner after Abdul Qadir to pick up a four-wicket haul.
In response, Pakistan opener Saim Ayub teed off from the word go, putting up a 62-ball 113 not out, helping them to seal a 10-wicket win in 18.2 overs. Ayub became the first Pakistan batter not named Shahid Afridi to hit a hundred in the format under 60 balls. Pakistan's 148-0 is also the lowest total in ODI history to contain an individual century.
In the third ODI, Kamran Ghulam, who impressed on his Test debut recently, scored his maiden hundred in the format to steer Pakistan to 303-6, proving pivotal to their 2-1 series victory. Ghulam's 103 off 99 balls was studded with 10 boundaries and four sixes. Zimbabwe never looked like chasing it as they fell short by 99 runs.

Pakistan would be happy with the result given their loss in the series opener. "I am proud because we lost the first game and expectations from the country were high," said captain Mohammad Rizwan. "We came back to win the series and that has given us confidence. Away matches are always difficult, always different from home."
Their next assignment is a three-match T20I series against the same opponents starting December 1.
