The list of players set to go under the hammer in the auction for the 2025 WPL has been announced - here are all the overseas players on the list.
The third auction of the Women’s Premier League will be held in Bengaluru on December 15. A total of 19 slots across the five WPL franchises need to be filed. From a long list of 400 names, 120 names have been shortlisted for the auction, of which 29 are overseas players. Scotland's Sarah Bryce, UAE's Samaira Dharnidharka and Theertha Satish are the three players from the Associate Members.
To date, only two players from an Associate Nation have featured in the tournament: USA's Tara Norris and Scotland's Kathryn Bryce, elder sister of Sarah. Notably, Norris took WPL's first five-wicket haul, for Delhi Capital against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, the runners-up of the past two seasons, have INR 2.5 crore, the smallest budget among teams. They can fill a maximum of four slots, including one overseas. The collective budget for all the franchises has seen a rise from last year’s INR 13.5 crore to 15 crore.
West Indies' Deandra Dottin, England's Heather Knight and South Africa's Lizelle Lee have placed themselves in the highest price slab with a base price of 50 lakh INR.
