Deandra Dottin - Gujarat Giants (Rs 1.70 crore)

The most expensive overseas player to be acquired in the WPL 2025 auction, Deandra Dottin cost Gujarat Giants a whopping Rs 1.70 crore. Dottin, who had also been acquired by Giants in the inaugural WPL auction and then released under controversial circumstances will be looking to make a mark.

The explosive West Indies all-rounder was the first woman to score a century in T20 Internationals and she has also won the T20 World Cup. She will be partnering Ashleigh Gardner, Beth Mooney, Phoebe Litchfield, Laura Wolvaardt, and Danielle Gibson in the GG overseas roster.

Nadine de Klerk - Mumbai Indians (Rs 30 lakhs)

Nadine de Klerk, who was drafted in as a replacement for England's Heather Knight for champions Royal Challengers Bangalore last season, will be appearing for Mumbai Indians in WPL 2025. The South African all-rounder went unsold in the auction last time around but got acquired by MI for Rs 30 lakhs. She has scored 614 runs in 65 matches at an average close to 28 and at a strike rate of 106.78. De Klerk has also picked up 50 wickets. The 24-year-old will join the likes of Nat Sciver-Brunt, Shabnim Ismail, Hayley Matthews, and Chloe Tryon at MI.

Alana King - UP Warriorz (Rs 30 lakhs)

Australian spinner Alana King will appear for UP Warriorz in WPL 2025 after being acquired for Rs 30 lakhs. She has picked up 21 wickets in 22 T20Is at an economy of 6.29. King won the Women's T20 World Cup with Australia in 2023 and has played over 120 matches in the Women's Big Bash League. She will join compatriots Alyssa Healy, Grace Harris and Tahlia McGrath in the team which also includes overseas stars Sophie Ecclestone and Chamari Athapaththu.

Danielle Gibson - Gujarat Giants (Rs 30 lakhs)

Danielle Gibson became Gujarat Giants' second overseas purchase of the day after they began the auction with a successful bid for Deandra Dottin. The 23-year-old England all-rounder has played 22 matches and picked up 10 wickets while also adding 147 runs with the bat. Gibson has also scalped 10 wickets in 13 matches in the Women's Big Bash League.

Sarah Bryce - Delhi Capitals (Rs 10 lakhs)

Delhi Capitals acquired Scotland's Sarah Bryce for just Rs 10 lakhs. At 24 years of age, Bryce has already played over 50 T20Is for her country. She has scored 1290 runs at an average of 28.66 and at a strike rate of 106.52. She is also a competent wicket-keeper and will be teaming up with Annabel Sutherland, Marizanne Kapp, Meg Lanning, Alice Capsey, and Jess Jonassen at DC.
