19 slots across five franchises need to be filled. From 400 names, 120 have been shortlisted for the auction, including 29 overseas players. Of them, three are from an Associate Member. They are Scotland's Sarah Bryce, UAE's Samaira Dharnidharka and Theertha Satish. Notably, as many as 90 uncapped players will be up for grabs in the mini-auction.

The auction for season three will begin at 3 pm IST on December 15. Bengaluru is the venue for the event.

Which team has the highest purse for WPL 2025 auction?

Four teams, including defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru and winners of the inaugural edition Mumbai Indians have four slots to fill each, while UP Warriorz are the only team with just three open slots.

Gujarat Giants, the bottom-ranked team in the past two seasons, will enter the auction with the biggest purse of 4.4 crore INR available to fill four slots, while Delhi Capitals, the runners-up of the past two seasons, have 2.5 crore INR, the smallest budget among teams.
