Women’s Premier League 2025 Squad

The 2025 Women’s Premier League will be played between February 14 and March 15 across four cities: Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai as the tournament will be hosted across four states for the first time in the league’s history.

WPL 2025: Season three beckons

With one eye on the 2025 ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, there has been a series of players opting out of the upcoming WPL season, while several overseas players are viewing the 2025 WPL season as the perfect practice as the 13th edition of the ICC tournament will be played in India as well.

RCB is the worst hit in terms of change in overseas contingents from last season as Sophie Molineux was ruled out of the season earlier followed by Sophie Devine and Kate Cross who have cited personal reasons while opting out of the upcoming league season. Alyssa Healy has been battling fitness issues for the last couple of months and the Australian skipper has decided that she will be sitting out of the upcoming WPL season with Deepti Sharma taking over the captaincy duties at UP Warriorz.

West Indies all-rounder Chinelle Henry has been named as Healy’s replacement while Heather Graham and Kim Garth will be replacing the duo of Devine and Cross for RCB.
