Which are the teams participating in WPL 2025?
Five teams – Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and UP Warriorz – will be vying for the trophy.
While the Royal Challengers Bengaluru will enter the competition as the defending champions, Delhi Capitals, who made it to the final in the previous two editions, will be aiming for their first title.
RCB will take on the Giants in the curtain-raiser at the latter's home in Vadodara, one of the four host cities alongside Bengaluru, Lucknow and Mumbai.
Ahead of their title defence, RCB has faced a stumbling block, losing leg-spinner Asha Sobhana due to an injury. They are already sweating on the fitness concerns of several other players, with half of their foreign contingent missing.
