India pit against Sri Lanka in the 2024 Women's Asia Cup final on Sunday (July 27) - Here's how to watch the title decider in different locations around the world on TV and digital platforms.
After more than a week of competitive cricket spanning across 14 matches, we have the two 2024 Women’s Asia Cup finalists – India and Sri Lanka. Both sides have reached this far by being unbeaten in the tournament.
India thrash Bangladesh
India blew away Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the semi-final. Renuka Singh Thakur's 3-10 with the ball set the tone for the defending champions as they restricted their opponents to 80-8. An unbeaten opening partnership from Shafali Verma (26 not out in 28 balls) and Smriti Mandhana (55 not out in 39) helped India gun down the total in 11 overs.

Sri Lanka win a nail-biting thriller
Later that day, Sri Lanka just edged past Pakistan in a last-over thriller. Chasing 140, captain Chamari Athapaththu’s 48-ball 63 provided a solid platform, but Sadia Iqbal’s 4-16 gave Pakistan a sniff. With 16 required in two overs, Sugandika Kumari hit Nashra Sandhu for two fours to bring down the equation to three in six. Nida Dar came to bowl the last over herself and dismissed Kumari with her second ball for a nine-ball 10, but Anushka Sanjeevani (24 not out off 22) held her nerves to take the hosts home with a ball and three wickets remaining.
Can Sri Lanka dent India's enviable numbers?
India have been the dominant force in the history of this competition, having won seven out of the eight editions. Bangladesh are the only other side to have won it, defeating India off the last ball in the 2018 final. It would take something remarkable for Sri Lanka to open their account tomorrow. If they do, it will be momentous.
