WI vs SA: Team news
The Proteas are set to tour West Indies in the red-ball format for the first time in three years, and only the seventh time since their re-admission to international cricket in 1992. They did, however, play a T20I series in the Caribbean just before the T20 World Cup in July this year.
Suryakumar Yadav bowled his first-ever T20 ball in 10 years and defended six runs in the last over against Sri Lanka.

It is a quick turnaround for West Indies, who have just completed a three-match tour of England. In matches at Lord's, Trent Bridge and Edgbaston, they were beaten comprehensively.
South Africa's most recent Test match action came in February this year, in a series that caused a mini-storm within the cricketing world. The Proteas sent a second-string squad to tour New Zealand, as their Test regulars were bound by their central contracts to take part in the SA20 league which clashed with the tour. Their previous series with a full-strength side saw them draw 1-1 at home to India.
