The three-match T20I series between West Indies and South Africa came to an end on Tuesday (August 27), with the hosts winning 3-0. Here's how players from both sides performed.
West Indies
Alick Athanaze: 6/10 (69 runs @ 23.0, SR 127.8)
There were no real fireworks from Athanaze, who proved a steady presence at the top of the order for West Indies, with knocks of 40 and 28 in the first two matches before being dismissed early in the third.
Shai Hope: 9/10 (134 runs @ 67.0, SR 163.4)
Hope continued to impress in the shortest format, ending as the series' second-highest run-scorer. He also contributed in each game, with 51 (36), 41 (22) and 42* (24).
Nicholas Pooran: 9/10 (119 runs @ 59.5, SR 205.2)
As a bonafide T20 superstar, Nicholas Pooran lived up to his billing. He lashed an unbeaten 65 off 26 in the opening game, and 35 off 13 in the last one with a total of 12 sixes across the series. For good measure, he also took three catches and effected one stumping.

Rovman Powell: 5/10 (42 runs @ 21.0, SR 113.5)
West Indies captain Powell only played the first two matches, struggling in the first but scoring a solid 35 off 22 balls in the second.
Roston Chase: 2/10 (11 runs @ 11.0, SR 110.0 & 0 wickets, ER 12.0)
Roston Chase only got to face one delivery in the first match, and did not bat in the third. He did bowl in all three matches, but went wicketless and conceded a total of 48 runs in his four overs.
Sherfane Rutherford: 6/10 (29 runs @ 29.0, SR 161.1)
Rutherford played only two matches, but got to bat just once. He scored a breezy 29 off 18 balls towards the back of the first innings.
Romario Shepherd: 8/10 (9 runs, SR 150.0 & 6 wickets @ 11.3, ER 7.6)
Shepherd led West Indies' charge with the ball, finishing as the series' highest wicket-taker with six to his name. While he was expensive in the first match, he came back superbly in the last two with 3-15 and 2-14.
Akeal Hosein: 8/10 (4 wickets @ 14.5, ER 5.3)
Hosein flew under the radar in this series but was invaluable for his side, opening the bowling. He only took four wickets but only conceded at more than a run-a-ball in the second game, where he took 2-25 in four overs.
Gudakesh Motie: 5/10 (1 wicket @ 81.0, ER 8.1)
Motie was slightly above average during this series. He took just one wicket but largely did his job of keeping the runs down.
Matthew Forde: 6/10 (5 wickets @ 16.0, ER 8.3)
Forde starred with 3-27 in the series opener and then took the final South African wicket in the second match. He dismissed Tristan Stubbs in the third game, but was a touch expensive there.
Shamar Joseph: 7/10 (5 wickets @ 14.2, ER 8.9)
Joseph missed the third match of the series, but took 2-40 and 3-31 in the two matches he did play, keeping in line with his role as an attacking, if sometimes slightly expensive, pace-bowling option.
Shimron Hetmyer: 7/10 (31 runs, SR 182.4)
Hetmyer only played the third match, and he batted at No.4, striking an unbeaten 31 off 17 balls to take West Indies over the line in their run chase.
Fabian Allen: 5/10 (0 runs, 0 wickets)
Fabian Allen came in for the final match and did not bat or bowl. He did take two catches, though.
Obed McCoy: 2/10 (0 wickets, ER 17.0)
Another who only played the last game, left-arm seamer McCoy bowled a solitary over in which he went for 17 runs.

South Africa
Ryan Rickelton: 4/10 (51 runs @ 17.0, SR 121.4)
This series was Rickelton's chance to cement his spot as Quinton de Kock's long-term successor, but he was unable to really get going and replicate his best form here.
Reeza Hendricks: 4/10 (57 runs @ 19.0, SR 121.3)
Hendricks made two single-digit scores, the second one an innings of 9 off 20 in a shortened game. He did, however, make one significant contribution of 44 off 18 in the second T20I.
Aiden Markram: 5/10 (53 runs @ 17.7, SR 171.0)
Markram's form across formats has been poor for a while now, and it continued. While he didn't score too many here, there was the saving grace that he at least scored quickly.
Tristan Stubbs: 9/10 (144 runs @ 48.0, SR 177.8)
Amid a poor South African performance, Stubbs stood head and shoulders above the rest. He was the series' leading run-scorer with knocks of 76 (42), 28 (24) and 40 (15).

Rassie van der Dussen: 1/10 (22 runs @ 11.0, SR 66.7)
Van der Dussen struggled big-time in this series, with 5 (9) and 17 (24) before sitting out the final match.
Donovan Ferreira: 2/10 (12 runs @ 6.0, SR 100.0)
Donovan Ferreira came into this series off a solid season in The Hundred, but forgot to bring his form with him. He scored eight and four, and did not play the last T20I.
Patrick Kruger: 6/10 (50 runs @ 25.0, SR 122 & 2 wickets @ 39.0, ER 9.4)
Kruger gave a good account of himself in the first T20I, scoring 44 after coming in at 42-5. He could not kick on with the bat in the second game, but did take the wickets of Shai Hope and Roston Chase. A touch expensive with the ball, he still showed enough promise through the series.
Bjorn Fortuin: 4/10 (1 wicket @ 63.0, ER 9.0)
Left-arm spinner Fortuin had an average outing. He took just one wicket, and went at nine runs an over through the three matches. He did contribute 11 with the bat in the first match, though.
Kwena Maphaka: 5/10 (1 wicket @ 88.0, ER 8.9)
The 18-year-old Maphaka was South Africa's most economical bowler in the first two matches, but copped some real punishment in the third. He took only one wicket, but often hurried the host batters with his pace. All in all, it was a promising debut series.
Ottniel Baartman: 6/10 (4 wickets @ 23.5, ER 9.4)
Baartman played all three matches, and more or less did what he does. He picked up four wickets, but went for runs as a consequence of bowling in the death overs.
Nandre Burger: 1/10 (0 wickets, ER 15.7)
Burger only played one match, the first. He opened the bowling and ended up conceding 47 runs in his three overs.
Lizaad Williams: 6/10 (3 wickets @ 18.7, ER 9.3)
Williams came in for the second match and did well, with 3-36. In the third game, he went for 20 in his two overs.
Jason Smith: 5/10 (6 runs @ INF, SR 100)
Jason Smith only played the last match and faced six balls to score six runs.
Wiaan Mulder: 5/10 (1 run @ INF, SR 100)
Mulder excelled in the Test series but only played the last match here. He faced just one ball and did not bowl.
