In response, Bangladesh declared their first innings at 269-9, 181-run short of West Indies’ total. The tactical move paid off to some extent as the hosts were bowled out for 152 in their second innings, with Taskin Ahmed picking up 6-64. However, the sizeable lead meant Bangladesh still had to chase 334 in the fourth innings.
