South Africa will play a two-match Test series against the West Indies starting February 28. Here is where you can watch the series between South Africa and West Indies live.
The Proteas come into the series having lost their most recent Test assignment away to Australia. They are not out of contention for the World Test Championship final yet, and would be eyeing a strong performance against the West Indies. Dean Elgar, who captained South Africa during the series against Australia, has been replaced as skipper by Temba Bavuma. Aiden Markram, after impressing in the SA20, is also back in the squad.
The likes of Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, Keshav Maharaj and Marco Jansen strong a form bowling attack, with Gerald Coetzee also part of the side. There is no place, however, for Lungi Ngidi.
West Indies, on the other hand, won against Zimbabwe recently but would know that the Proteas would present a much tougher challenge. Prior to the series against Zimbabwe, the West Indies lost away to Australia and would be hoping to bounce back against South Africa.
Kraigg Brathwaite will lead the side, with Jermaine Blackwood acting as his deputy. Alzarri Joseph, Jason Holder, Kemar Roach and Shannon Gabriel make up a formidable fast-bowling unit, with left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie also hoping to continue his fine recent form.
The batting, as always, will revolve around skipper Brathwaite, with his opening partner Tagenarine Chanderpaul also expected to play a crucial role.
