Watch: Ben Stokes hilariously reacted to his doppelganger during the fourth day of the second Test between England and West Indies at Trent Bridge.
A hilarious subplot from the penultimate day of the Trent Bridge Test left everybody in splits. As England went on extending their fourth-innings lead, thanks to hundreds from Harry Brook and Joe Root, the camera panned towards a spectator with almost similar facial features as Ben Stokes. Like the England Test captain, the fan had a ginger beard and hair of similar colour back-brushed except for a pair of spectacles as an extra.
The England dressing room couldn’t control the laughter after seeing the eerie resemblance, with assistant coach Paul Collingwood and the recently retired James Anderson seemingly teasing the all-rounder.
Stokes sportingly curled his fingers around his eyes, mimicking a pair of glasses to remove whatever slight difference there was between him and his doppelganger.
