England will host West Indies for a three-match Test series from July 10. Here’s everything you need to know about the red-ball clashes between the two heavyweights, including the schedule, head-to-head numbers, squads, telecast and live-streaming details, etc.
After crashing out in the semi-finals of the 2024 T20 World Cup, the series will mark England’s maiden assignment of their home summer. The curtain-raiser fixture will also be James Anderson’s final Test of his illustrious career. Following Stuart Broad's retirement last year, England will step into a new era without their two fast-bowling greats.
When and where will the England-West Indies 2024 Tests series be played?
The first match of the series will be played between July 10 and 14 at the Lord's. It is expected to be filled with tributes to Anderson, who debuted way back in 2003, fittingly at the iconic venue.
The second Test will be held at Trent Bridge, Nottingham from July 18 to 22, followed by the third, at Edgbaston, Birmingham from July 26 to 30.

What are the head-to-head numbers between the two sides in the format?
There’s very little to distinguish between the two sides whenever they play each other in the format. Despite West Indies’ waning power as cricketing giants, they have tasted recent success against England in Tests. The two sides will reconvene again for the first time in the format since West Indies beat England 1-0 in a three-match series at home in 2022.
In the history of Test cricket, the two have clashed in 163 matches, with 59 going in West Indies way and England prevailing on 51 occasions, while 53 matches resulted in a draw.
