Birmingham Phoenix

Ailsa Lister: Scottish youngster Ailsa Lister suffered an injury last month, and was ruled out of The Hundred as a result. Her replacement at Birmingham Phoenix is Emma Jones.

Will Smeed: Last week, batter Will Smeed picked up a hamsting injury while playing for Somerset in the T20 Blast. He has been replaced in the Birmingham Phoenix squad by Leicestershire's Louis Kimber.

Naseem Shah: Originally named in the Phoenix squad, Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah had to withdraw from the competition after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) denied him a no-objection certificate (NOC) for the competition. His replacement is Tim Southee.

London Spirit

Grace Harris: Cricket Australia (CA) announced last week that Grace Harris would have to miss The Hundred as she undergoes a rehabilitation programme for the aggravation of a calf injury sustained during her preparation for the tournament. She has been replaced by Deepti Sharma. Erin Burns, in turn, will replace Deepti during her time at the Asia Cup.

Manchester Originals

Sophie Molineux: Like Harris, Molineux also had to withdraw from The Hundred due to injury. She fractured a rib during a net session with Australia and will be out of action for upto eight weeks. She has been replaced by Kim Garth.

Mahika Gaur: England left-arm seamer Gaur was ruled out of this season's tournament with a side strain, the same injury that prevented her from being involved in the home white-ball series against New Zealand last month. Bethan Ellis has been called up to the Originals squad in her place.

Fred Klaassen: Dutch pacer Fred Klaassen was ruled out of The Hundred well in advance, as he missed the T20 World Cup as well with a recurrence of symptoms from a previous lower back stres fracture. He has been replaceed by Tom Aspinwall.

Josh Tongue: Like Klaassen, English pacer Josh Tongue was also ruled out of The Hundred in May, as he suffered a pectoral injury which will keep him out indefinitely as of now. His replacement is Scott Currie.

Northern Superchargers

Brydon Carse: Retained by the Northern Superchargers, pacer Brydon Carse will not be part of The Hundred this year after being hit with a three-month ban for historiclal breaches of betting rules, in June. He has been replaced by 2019 World Cup winner Jason Roy.

Daniel Sams: Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams picked up a knee injury in action for Essex in the T20 Blast earlier this month, and was subsequently ruled out of both the Blast and The Hundred. The Superchargers have replaced him with Mitchell Santner.

Oval Invincibles

Natasha Farrant: Left-arm pacer Tash Farrant pulled out of the competition with a hamstring injury, announced just a few days prior to the start of the tournament. A replacement is yet to be announced.

Welsh Fire

Claire Nicholas: 37-year-old bowler Claire Nicholas withdrew from the competition through injury, the exact nature of which is not known yet. She has been replaced by Beth Langston.

Shaheen Afridi: In June, it emerged that fast bowler Shaheen Afridi had withdrawn from The Hundred in order to play the Global T20 in Canada, a shorter league which would allow him more time to spend with his family. As it turned out, the PCB denied him an NOC to play in that league. Welsh Fire replaced him with Matt Henry.
