The fourth edition of The Hundred will get underway from July 23 - here is the list of all overseas players that will be seen in action in the tournament over the next few weeks.

The winners of the previous edition of the Men’s Hundred, Oval Invincibles, will start their title defence this year when they take on Birmingham Phoenix in the first match of the tournament on July 23 at Kia Oval, London. South Brave, the defending champions of the 2023 Women’s Hundred will start their season on July 24 in Utilita Bowl, Southampton

The Hundred 2024 format

Like last year, a total of 34 matches will be held in the tournament, with each team playing eight league games, four at home and four away, amounting to 32 league games in all.

Following that, the top-ranked team will directly qualify for the Final, whereas the second and third-ranked teams will play in the Eliminator to decide the second finalist. The Final will be played on August 18 at Lord’s.

How many overseas players are allowed in each team of The Hundred?

Each team is allowed to have three overseas players in their squad. Several star T20 players from around the world, including Smriti Mandhana, Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran and Rashid Khan, will be seen in action this time around, along with English international and local players.

Naseem Shah, bought by Birmingham Phoenix this year, will miss the competition as the Pakistan Cricket Board has denied him a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
