The Hundred Draft 2024 will take place on March 20. Here is the list of Indian men’s and women’s players for the Hundred 2024 draft.
This 2024 edition of The Hundred will feature the usual eight sides in both the men’s and the women’s tournaments – Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets, and Welsh Fire.
Oval Invincibles won the Women’s Hundred in 2021 and 2022, and Southern Brave in 2023. In the Men’s Hundred, Southern Brave won in 2021, Trent Rockets in 2022, and Oval Invincibles in 2023.
In the men’s competition, 245 domestic players and 389 overseas players have registered the selection. As with the previous editions, no Indian will be part of the drafts.
For the women’s edition, 122 domestic and 127 overseas cricketers have signed up. None of the eight franchises has retained an Indian cricketer, but the overseas pool in the drafts consists of 15 Indians across four categories.
Some of the game’s most eye-catching talent will be available, with the likes of Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran and Ashleigh Gardner available in the top price categories.
The Hundred 2024 begins on July 23, with Oval Invincibles hosting Birmingham Phoenix at the Kia Oval – first the women’s team, then the men’s team. The league phase will continue until August 15.
The two Eliminators (between the second- and third-placed sides) will be played on August 17, at the Kia Oval, followed by the two finals, at Lord’s on August 18.
