Gaur was 12 when she had made her international cricket debut for the UAE, and was recently called up to the England women’s squad for the first time, for the white-ball series against Sri Lanka later this month.
She celebrated the achievement with a successful outing in the women’s Hundred on Sunday, picking 2-21 in 15 balls. She dismissed Marie Kelly with the second ball of the innings: Kelly holed out to deep mid wicket.

She then cleaned up Phoebe Litchfield with a dream ball. Angled in from wide of the crease, left-arm seamer Gaur’s ball pitched on a good length just around off stump and held its line just enough to square up Litchfield and crash into the middle and off stump.
Gaur’s spell allowed Manchester to restrict the Northern Superchargers to 107-8 in 100 balls. However, they stuttered in their response: openers Emma Lamb and Laura Wolvaardt fell for single-digit scores as the they lost five wickets by the time they reached 40.
It was the pair of Kathryn Bryce and Amanda Jade-Wellington that helped them get over the line in what eventually turned out to be a thriller. Bryce scored 32 off 27, while Amanda was unbeaten on 33 off 26 as the Originals overhauled the target with just three wickets and one ball to spare.
