The tournament’s final stages are to be held at two venues: Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Kolkata will host Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator before the tournament finishes in Ahmedabad where Qualifier 2 and the final are to be played.
As things stand, Gujurat Titans (GT), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) occupy the first three positions in the IPL 2022 points table, with Titans in the lead on 16 points, ahead of Lucknow on 14 and Rajasthan on 12. All have played 10 matches.

The race for the fourth place is altogether more complicated, with all of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Punjab Kings (PBKS) all tied on ten points.
Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders are just a win off the playoffs with eight points each, whilst Chennai Super Kings are second last on six points.
Only Mumbai Indians (MI) are out of contention after a disastrous season where they have won just one of their nine games so far.
