Rishabh Pant became the first Delhi Capitals (formerly Delhi Daredevils) player to play 100 matches when he took the field against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur today (March 28).
Before the game, he was presented with a special jersey in a huddle that involved all members of the squad.

Pant has scored 2,856 runs for Delhi in the IPL at an average of 34.40 with 15 fifties and one hundred. He has struck at 147.90 in his IPL career, the entirety of which has been spent with the same team.
Pant made his debut in the IPL in 2016, the same year he represented India at the U19 World Cup. Barring his first season, he has scored more than 300 runs each year. No other Delhi batter has scored more runs or hit more sixes (129) than Pant.
Having missed the previous edition of the IPL after suffering from a near-fatal accident, Pant was given a green signal to participate in this edition after going through extensive rehab.
In DC’s first match of the season against PBKS, which was his first competitive game since his accident, Pant made 18 off 13 and looked good while he was out there.
