Mumbai Indians head into the auction with eight slots available having retained 17 of their players from the last season, including a trade of Romario Shephard (from LSG) and Hardik Pandya (from GT). Four of those slots can be used for overseas players. Their starting budget before the auction was INR 17.75 crore.
