There has been a lot of movement as far as the IPL coaching staff is concerned in the last few days. Here is the latest and updated list of IPL coaches and support staff for each team for IPL 2024.
There were rumours of Royal Challengers Bangalore parting ways with Mike Hesson and Sanjay Bangar, who were at the helm of their coaching staff last season. Those rumours were substantiated when RCB announced a partnership with Andy Flower a few days back. Flower, who had been with Lucknow Super Giants last season, will take over as the RCB Head Coach from IPL 2024.
LSG, meanwhile, have appointed Justin Langer as head coach. This will mark Langer’s debut as an IPL coach. He comes with a successful T20 CV, having coached Australia to victory in the 2021 T20 World Cup and the Perth Scorchers to three Big Bash League titles.
The other major change in coaching staff has come about in the Sunrisers Hyderabad camp: they have replaced Brian Lara, their head coach from the last season, with former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori. Vettori has formerly coached RCB without much success.
