Hardik Pandya smashed four sixes in an over during the 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match between Baroda and Tripura

Watch: Hardik Pandya smashed four sixes in an over in a 2024 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy fixture today (November 29), having also done so two days back in Baroda's previous game.

Chasing a paltry 109 against Tripura, Pandya, coming in at No.4, smashed a 23-ball 47. The quickfire knock was studded with five towering sixes. Of them, four came in a single over.

During the 10th over of Baroda’s innings, Pandya went all guns blazing against spinner Parvez Sultan. He hit a six on the first, third, fourth and sixth balls apart from scoring a boundary off the fifth.

Pandya’s assault helped Baroda gun down the total with seven wickets and 8.4 overs remaining.

This is the second time the all-rounder has hit four sixes in an over in a space of three days. Against Tamil Nadu in Indore on Wednesday (November 27), Baroda needed 65 runs off the last 24 balls when Pandya took left-arm pacer Gurjapneet Singh to the cleaners in the 17th over, hitting him for four sixes on the trot followed by a boundary to get 29 runs from the over. His 30-ball 69 helped Baroda chase 221 then.
