Left-arm seamer Josh Hull will be making his Test debut in the third Test of the series against Sri Lanka, starting September 6 at The Oval.
England have announced their playing XI for the third and final Test of the series against Sri Lanka, making one change from the side that scripted a resounding victory at Lord's last week.
Josh Hull to make Test debut
Fast bowler Matthew Potts has been replaced by Leicestershire left-arm quick Josh Hull in the XI. No other changes have been made.
The 20-year-old seamer has taken 16 wickets in 10 first-class matches at a bowling average of 62.75. However, in his young professional career so far, the six-foot-seven Hull has shown enough promise to be handed his maiden call-up to the Test squad, and is now set to earn a Test cap.

Hull has experience of playing against Sri Lanka. Earlier this year, he appeared in the England Lions team against a full strength Sri Lankan batting order and picked up 5-74 across the two innings.
England have already sealed the series 2-0 and would be looking to make it seven consecutive home Test victories at The Oval, starting Friday (September 6).
