Sri Lanka are entering the series high on confidence after winning the T20Is against the hosts 2-1 courtesy of Nuwan Thushara’s 5-20 in the series decider. With 181 runs at 60.33 across three innings, Kusal Mendis won the Player of the Series award.

The first ODI will be played on March 13, followed by the second and the third matches on March 15 and 18, respectively. The Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong will host all three clashes in the series.
The hosts will be led by all-format captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, with veterans like Mahmudullah and Mustafizur Rahman in their ranks. Meanwhile, Kusal Mendis will captain a 16-member Sri Lanka squad including key members like Charith Asalanka, and Wanindu Hasaranga, among others.
Sri Lanka hold the upper hand between the two teams as far as their ODI rivalry is concerned. From 54 games, Bangladesh have won only 10 while Sri Lanka have won 42 with two games yielding no results.
