South Africa will host India for a T20I series from November 8 - here is the full list of SA v IND 2024 squads for the four matches.
When will the South Africa vs India 2024 T20Is be played?
The first match will be played in Durban on November 8, followed by the second in Gqeberha on November 10 and the third in Centurion on November 13. The fourth and final T20I will be held in Johannesburg on November 15.
The two sides last met in the T20 World Cup final earlier this year, in which India narrowly beat South Africa to end their prolonged trophy drought.
SA vs IND 2024 T20Is: Team news
Suryakumar Yadav will lead India’s touring outfit, with Ramandeep Singh and Vijaykumar Vyshak receiving their maiden call-ups. Mayank Yadav and Shivam Dube were unavailable due to injuries, while Riyan Parag, like Kuldeep Yadav, went to the BCCI Centre of Excellence to manage a chronic shoulder injury.
South Africa have named a strong squad under Aiden Markram, with experienced campaigners like Heinrich Klaasen, Reeza Hendricks, Keshav Maharaj and David Miller in their ranks. Marco Jansen and Gerald Coetzee are set to return after healing from their respective injuries. The squad also features two uncapped players in Mihlali Mpongwana and Andile Simelane.
