India dominated South Africa in the final match of the T20I series between the two sides to take the series by a 3-1 margin. Here's what their win in the match has done to the ICC Men's T20I team rankings.
Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson both scored centuries in India's innings, making the side the first full member nation with two centurions in the same innings in men's T20Is. Varma also became the first India player after Samson to score consecutive T20I centuries after his maiden international hundred in the third match of the series.
India posted 283-1 in their innings, which is their second-highest total in a men's T20I, only short to the 297-6 they scored against Bangladesh last month. It's also the third-highest total for any side in the format. Varma and Samson shared an unbroken stand of 210, which is the sixth-highest partnership in T20I history for any side for any wicket, and the highest for the second wicket.

After posting the mammoth total, India were instantly on top of South Africa. Arshdeep Singh dismissed Reeza Hendricks in the first over of the chase, cleaning up his stumps with a peach.
Ryan Rickleton was dismissed in the following over by Hardik Pandya, and captain Aiden Markram fell to Arshdeep in the third over. Arshdeep made it two in two balls by trapping Heinrich Klaasen plumb lbw with his next delivery, leaving South Africa 10-4 at the end of the third over.
While Tristan Stubbs and David Miller then put on a strong stand, they fell way behind the run rate with the result becoming a formality. India won in the 19th over by 135 runs.

The result has not changed either side's position in the ICC Men's T20I rankings. India remain in first place, while South Africa stay in sixth. The Proteas' rating has not changed either, but India's has gone up by one point, from 267 to 268.
