Amy Jones bats during the first T20I between England and South Africa

South Africa are hosting England women for a multi-format series, including a one-off Test match between the two sides. Here's all you need to know about the series, including squads, schedule and where to watch live.

England had a good start to the series in their first assignment since their early exit from the 2024 T20 World Cup, winning the opening T20I in East London. Nat Sciver-Brunt scored a match-winning 59 in a 143-run chase, and Amy Jones contributed with a 19-ball 31.

South Africa are depleted of two of their best players for the T20I series, with both Ayabonga Khaka and Marizanne Kapp rested for the series. In their places, Eliz-Mari Marx and Nondumiso Shangase have both been included in South Africa's T20I squad, while they have yet to name their Test squad.

Alice Capsey was the initial headline news when England announced their squad, having been left out of the tourists' T20I squad. However, she was subsequently recalled before the series started, after Paige Scholfield was ruled-out with an ankle injury. Wicketkeeper-batter Seren Smale was also a late addition to the T20I and Test squads after Bess Heath suffered a fractured thumb, while Ryana MacDonald-Gay was also called up to the Test squad.
