England will host South Africa in a three-Test series beginning August 17, 2022 – here’s where to watch the series live, including live streaming schedule for the ENG v SA games.
England enter the Tests having, to a certain extent, negated the effects of their form preceding to the New Zealand Tests this year. Having won just one out of 17 Tests leading up to New Zealand’s visit, the side pulled off a 3-0 cleanup – giving the world the term BazBall in the process – and continued their stellar run with a win against India in the rescheduled fifth Test.
It won’t be an easy task applying the same template against South Africa, currently on top of the ICC World Test Championship table. The SA team has lost just two games so far in the cycle, and its members have, so far, have appeared least bothered by the BazBall prospect, with captain Dean Elgar saying there’s “no longevity” in playing that sort of game.
The first Test will be played at Lord’s, while Manchester and The Oval will host the final two games. All matches will begin at 10am GMT.
