The quarterfinals of the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy started on February 8, 2025. Here are the latest updates from the knockout round of the competition.
The knockout rounds are set to be hard-fought this season, with a couple of surprise packages in the mix. Jammu & Kashmir beat Mumbai comprehensively in the sixth round of the competition, helping them qualify as group winners ahead of the record champions, who finished second. They are set to take on Kerala in Pune.
Mumbai welcome national team players Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube back into the lineup for their clash against Haryana at Eden Gardens, where the biggest threat is likely to come from Anshul Kamboj, who took 10 wickets in an innings earlier this season.
Vidarbha, whose charge will be led by star batter Karun Nair, take on an up-and-down Tamil Nadu side in Nagpur while Saurashtra, who count Cheteshwar Pujara and Jaydev Unadkat among their ranks, will face off against Gujarat in Rajkot.
