The last round of the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy will begin on January 30, marking the return of Virat Kohli to the domestic league after 13 years.
Kohli has been named in Delhi’s squad for the Ranji Trophy for their clash against Railways. The former India skipper, who was seen practising extensively over the weekend with former batting coach Sanjay Bangar, last played a Ranji Trophy game in November 2012. The match will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
Besides Kohli, KL Rahul will also be playing in the Ranji Trophy for the first time in five years.

Ajinkya Rahane, Mumbai skipper, fell for 96 during the game against Meghalaya but it was not as agonising as Cheteshwar Pujara, who fell for 99, one run short of his 67th first-class ton. He was 95* overnight and only added four more runs.

Virat Kohli's highly anticipated comeback was halted as he was clean bowled for six by Himanshu Sangwan. Kohli hit one boundary during his knock but departed after facing 15 balls.

Rahul, batting at three for Karnataka in his Ranji return, was dismissed by Haryana's rising star, seamer Anshul Kamboj.

No Rohit, Jaiswal, Iyer, Dube for Meghalaya match
Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer, and Shubham Dube are not part of the Mumbai squad for their match against Meghalaya, their last of the league stage of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy.
While Rohit, Jaiswal, and Iyer are part of the ODIs against England as well as the Champions Trophy after that, Dube has been called up to the Indian T20I side.
