Vidarbha vs Kerala: Road to final
Kerala entered the final for the first time after a dramatic finish in the semi-final against Gujarat. Going into the last day at 429-7, Gujarat just needed 29 runs for a first innings lead. With their deficit reduced to just two runs, Kerala's Aditya Sarwate had Arzan Nagwaswalla caught at first slip after a hit from the Gujarat No.10 ricocheted off the short-leg fielder’s helmet.
On the other hand, Vidarbha claimed an 80-run victory over Mumbai in the other semi-final to book their spot in the titular clash. Having lifted the trophy in the 2017-18, and 2018-19 seasons, Vidarbha will be looking to redeem their loss in the final against Mumbai last season.
