The leading run-scorer for every season of the PSL is awarded the Green Cap and the Hanif Mohammad Award, named after Pakistan’s first great batter: Kusal Mendis currently holds the Green Cap after today's PSL 2026 match.
The previous winners of this award are Kamran Akmal (2017), Luke Ronchi (2018), Shane Watson (2019), Babar Azam (2020, 2021, and 2024), Fakhar Zaman (2022), and Mohammad Rizwan (2023). Fakhar’s 2022 record of 588 runs remains a season record for the league.

Kusal Mendis of the Peshawar Zalmi remained at the top of the run-scorers’ list, while his captain, Babar Azam, is second. Fakhar Zaman (Lahore Qalandars) holds the third spot.
