Shaheen Afridi dismissed David Warner and James Vince in the first over of the 2025 PSL clash between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars to spark a dramatic collapse today (April 15).

Lahore posted 201-6 while batting first at Karachi, with Fakhar Zaman (76 in 47) and Daryl Mitchell (75 in 41) leading the charge. Any hopes of an inspired chase by Karachi were thwarted early by Lahore skipper Shaheen, who sent back Warner and Vince in the space of three deliveries to leave the opposition reeling at 0-2.

The ball that dismissed Warner was bowled wide outside the off stump, with the batter managing a healthy nick as wicketkeeper Sam Billings took an easy catch. The one to Vince hit him on the pads before deflecting to the stumps as Karachi got off to the worst-possible start.

It ignited a collapse for Karachi, who soon fell to 50-7 in 9.5 overs, with Rishad Hossain picking up 3-26 in his four overs. Karachi were eventually bowled out for 136, losing the match by 65 runs.
