Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi produced a sensational effort with the ball, finishing with the third-most economical spell in PSL history for Karachi Kings against Quetta Gladiators.
Nabi bowls his most economical T20 spell
Nabi, 40, continues to go strong in the T20 format, playing a key role in Kings' big win over the Gladiators in their PSL fixture on April 19. Stifling the middle order, he bowled 17 dots, including a wicket-maiden, taking the scalps of Kusal Mendis and Rilee Rossouw to derail Gladiators' chase of 176.
He finished with 4-1-7-2, his most economical T20 figures for a four-over spell.
The Saud Shakeel-led team managed 119-9 in 20 overs, with the captain himself staying unbeaten on a sluggish 33 off 40. Mohammad Amir, the No.9 was the only other batter to cross 20, finishing with 30 (16). Their 43-run stand ensured the Gladiators crossed 100.

Hasan Ali took three wickets, with Abbas Afridi also taking a couple, and Mir Hamza, as well as Aamer Jamal, picking up a wicket each. As many as seven Gladiators players fell for single digits.

Earlier, the Kings, led by another James Vinceknock, posted a competitive 175-7. Vince, initially on 25 off 24, accelerated to 70 off 47, with Nabi himself hitting a couple of sixes in the end to help set up the total.
The Kings won by 56 runs, moving to third on the points table. They now have four points – same as second-placed Lahore Qalandars.
Nabi's spell levels him with Shahid Afridi and Yasir Shah for the third-cheapest spell in PSL history. Only Mohammad Nawaz and Samit Patel have bowled cheaper spells in the competition.
