Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators: Team news
Karachi sit second in the table with three wins in five matches, but have yet to register consecutive wins. They squeezed over the line in their last game against Peshawar, chasing down 148 with two wickets and three balls to spare. Having started the season with Shan Masood and Arafat Minhas and Adam Milne in the side, they have shuffled that combination a bit to fit in Mohammad Nabi as a spin-bowling all-rounder, Saad Baig as their Emerging player and Mir Hamza as another quick bowler.
Quetta have played just three games so far, with the latest one coming a full week ago. Off-spinner Usman Tariq did not play the previous game after being reported for a suspect action, with leggie Ali Majid taking his place. There are no real concerns injury-wise, but QG have also tinkered with their overseas combinations, playing Kyle Jamieson, Akeal Hosein and Sean Abbott for one match each in the bowling department.

KK vs QG: Match prediction
Quetta's last game was the reverse fixture in Karachi a week ago, which the home side won by 56 runs. Both sides have explosive batting lineups, with Karachi's perhaps a touch more reliable thanks to David Warner and James Vince. Mohammad Amir will likely be key with the new ball – if he can make early inroads against the Karachi top three of Seifert-Warner-Vince, Quetta could get on top early.
Karachi look likely to play four quicks, and Quetta two specialist spinners, making for an intriguing clash. It could end up being that conditions in Lahore have the biggest say in who will thrive. A flat or turning track might suit Quetta, but anything in it for the quicks could end up being in Karachi's favour.
