High-profile signings like Daryl Mitchell, Jason Holder, Kane Williamson, Rassie van der Dussen, and David Warner – entrusted with Karachi Kings' captaincy – headlined the PSL 2025 draft.
New Zealand players were in particularly high demand, with Finn Allen, Mitchell, Adam Milne, Michael Bracewell, and Mark Chapman picked in the platinum category, while Williamson and Kyle Jamieson were added as supplementary picks. In a first, USA’s Andries Gous earned a spot in PSL 2025 and will feature for Islamabad United.

Corbin Bosch withdraws after being signed by Mumbai Indians in the IPL
South Africa all-rounder Corbin Bosch, who was signed by Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL 2025 Diamond category, joined Mumbai Indians as an injury replacement for compatriot Lizaad Williams in IPL 2025. As a result, Peshawar Zalmi served him a legal notice for alleged breach of contractual obligations.
