
The tenth edition of the Pakistan Super League, will be held from April 11 – here is the list of PSL 2025 captains for all six franchises.
The six franchises in PSL 2025 are defending champions Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans.
Like last time, a total of 34 matches will be played in the tournament, across Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi and Lahore. Following a double round-robin league, the top four teams will feature in the playoffs. After the Qualifier and the two Eliminators, the final will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 18.

PSL 2025 has shifted to a new window alongside the IPL. This has created opportunities for international stars without IPL contracts, as they won’t be occupied with international commitments. Several high-profile overseas signings include David Warner, Kane Williamson, and Daryl Mitchell.

While most teams have retained their captains from the previous edition, Quetta Gladiators and Karachi Kings have made changes. Saud Shakeel has replaced Rilee Rossouw as the Gladiators' captain, while Karachi Kings have appointed Warner as their new leader.
