Bowling first, Peshawar Zalmi decimated Lahore Qalandars to 44/6, with Alzarri Joseph wreaking havoc alongside Luke Wood, U19 star Ali Raza, and Hussain Talat. A defiant Sikandar Raza (52 off 37 at No.7) restored some balance, guiding Lahore to 128 before falling in the 20th over. The innings lasted just two more balls, with Lahore setting a modest target of 130.
Despite their struggles this season, Peshawar Zalmi overcame a shaky start, slipping to 7-2 as captain Babar Azam anchored the chase with his first fifty of the season. Babar was 45 off 30 balls and took seven more deliveries to reach the landmark. Hussain Talat, however, emerged as the standout performer, finishing with an unbeaten 37 off 51 and bowling figures of 2-18 in 2.2 overs, guiding Zalmi to victory with seven wickets and 20 balls to spare.

Both teams now have two wins and three losses each, retaining their pre-match standings. Lahore remain in third place with a net run-rate of +0.561, while fourth-placed Peshawar (-0.362) trail closely behind.
Defending champions Islamabad United remain unbeaten in all five matches, firmly holding the top spot. Meanwhile, Multan Sultans languish at the bottom with just one win.
