
Quetta Gladiators defeated Multan Sultans in a one-sided contest on Tuesday (April 29). Here is what the PSL points table looks like after the result.
In Match 18 of the 2025 PSL, at Lahore, QG beat MS by 10 wickets with 79 balls to spare to reach second place on the points table.
QG bowled out MS for 89, the third-lowest total in PSL history, after Saud Shakeel won the toss and opted to field. Khurram Shahzad (4-23), Mohammad Wasim (2-18), and Faheem Ashraf (2-21) took only 17 overs to complete the destruction.
Opening batting, MS captain Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on a run-a-ball 44. He became the first in the PSL and the ninth in all men’s T20 cricket to carry his bat through an all-out innings. Barring him, Usama Mir (11) was the only MS batter to reach double figures.
Shakeel (42 not out in 20 balls) and Finn Allen (45 not out in 21) took only 41 balls to complete the chase.

The win got QG two points and an enormous net run rate boost. Not only did they overtake Lahore Qalandars on points but they are also well clear of them on net run rate. MS, meanwhile, are virtually out of the race for the playoffs.
