
Lahore Qalandars cruised to an easy win against Multan Sultans on Saturday (April 26). Here's what the PSL points table looks like after the result.
In Match 16 of the 2025 PSL, at Lahore, LQ beat MS with five wickets and an over to spare to climb to second place on the points table.
LQ restricted MS to 185-3 after Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and opted to field. MS captain Mohammad Rizwan batted through the 20 overs with a 48-ball 76 not out (six fours, three sixes), while Kamran Ghulam remained unbeaten on a 31-ball 52 (two fours, four sixes). For the hosts, Tom Curran returned figures of 4-0-24-1 and Shaheen 4-0-25-0.
MS hit back, and had LQ at 45-2 after 6.1 overs. However, Abdullah Shafique (34 in 25 balls, two fours, two sixes) and Daryl Mitchell (64 in 37, four fours, four sixes) kept the hosts in the hunt. Ubaid Shah’s (2-34) double strike reduced LQ to 95-4, but Sikandar Raza took on the MS attack and finished unbeaten on a 21-ball 40 to complete the chase. Mitchell and Raza added 89 in only 44 balls.
PSL 2025 points table: Updated team rankings after Lahore vs Multan
The win helped LQ leapfrog Karachi Kings and claim the second place on the PSL 2025 points table. While both teams have six points from six games, LQ (+0.543) outdoes KK (-0.217) on net run rate by a considerable distance. MS, meanwhile, remained at bottom spot.
