Islamabad completed their second win of PSL 2025 to jump to the top of the points table. They rode on Sahibzada Farhan’s 52-ball 106 (13 fours, five sixes) to post 243-5 after Shadab Khan won the toss and opted to bat. This was Farhan’s fourth T20 hundred in a month. For perspective, no one has more than four in a calendar year.

In response, the Peshawar batters went for their strokes and perished in the process. Barring Mohammad Haris (87 in 47 balls, 13 fours, four sixes – the highest score of his T20 career), only Mitchell Owen (10 in seven balls) and Talat (13 in 11) reached double figures as they were bowled out for 141 in 18.2 overs.
For Islamabad, Imad Wasim finished with 3-26, Ben Dwarshuis with 2-23, and Shadab with 2-29. Fielding as a substitute, Mohammad Nawaz held four catches.
The Zalmi remained at last place after this 102-run defeat. Their net run rate dipped even further, to -4.55.
