Islamabad United beat Multan Sultans in Wednesday’s (April 23) Pakistan Super League match in Multan. Here is the updated PSL 2025 points table after the MS vs IU match.
PSL table toppers IU beat MS with seven wickets and 17 balls in hand at Multan to extend their unbeaten streak. MS posted 168-5 after Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and opted to bat. Yasir Khan (29 in 17 balls) and Rizwan (36 in 37) added 51 in 40 balls before Usman Khan blasted 61 in 40.
At 130-3 in 15.2 overs, MS seemed set for a bigger score, but they were restricted by IU’s excellent death bowing. Jason Holder returned 4-0-25-1.
With a 45-ball 80 not out, Andries Gous quickly put IU in control of the chase. He found support from Colin Munro (45 in 28), and the chase was completed without much fuss even as Michael Bracewell returned 4-0-31-1.
