
Australia batter Ashton Turner has been called up as a replacement player for Multan Sultans in PSL 2025.
Ashton Turner replaces Johnson Charles in Multan Sultans PSL 2025 squad
Turner is replacing West Indian Johnson Charles in the Multan Sultans squad as the explosive Caribbean opener has been ruled out of the season due to injury. The change was approved by PSL's technical committee on Friday (April 11), the day PSL 2025 commenced.

Turner has never played in the Pakistan Super League before but has been in good T20 form this season. In the 2024-25 Big Bash League, Turner scored 240 runs at 147.23 for the Perth Scorchers. He also played two games for Pretoria Capitals in the 2025 SA20, scoring 31 runs at 147.61. Turner was also part of the Lucknow Super Giants squad in IPL 2024, playing two matches for them and scoring 21 runs.
The 32-year-old Australian right-hander has played nine ODIs and 19 T20Is, with his last international appearance coming in 2023. He has 192 runs striking at 120 in the 50-over format for Australia, and 110 runs at 83.96 in T20Is.
