Pakistan's Noman Ali became the first spinner from his country to claim a hat-trick in Test cricket, blowing away the West Indies on the opening day of the second Test in Multan.
The tourists suffered a dramatic collapse, slipping from 32-2 to 38-7, as Pakistan relentlessly kept chipping away with wickets. In the top-eight, only Kavem Hodge managed to reach double figures.
With the wickets of Justin Greaves, Tevin Imlach and Kevin Sinclair, Noman achieved a first for Pakistan, becoming the only spinner to claim a Test hat-trick from his country.
There have been five hat-tricks before Noman, but all by fast bowlers. Interestingly, the first four hat-tricks all came against Sri Lanka, with Wasim Akram the only one to claim more than one.
