Pakistan beat England in the third Test match in Rawalpindi to win the series 2-1. Here's the updated World Test Championship points table following the third PAK-ENG Test.
In the series decider in Rawalpindi, England won the toss and chose to bat first. After a good start, they were reduced to 118-6, before wicketkeeper Jamie Smith dragged them out of trouble with a counter-attacking 89, helping them post 267.
In reply, Pakistan rode on a superb century from middle-order batter Saud Shakeel (134), while spin twins Sajid Khan and Noman Ali showcased their ability with the bat, scoring 48 not out and 45 respectively.
The pair then starred with the ball, sharing all 10 English wickets between them in the third innings to skittle the visitors for 112, leaving the batters just 36 runs to chase in the final innings. They duly did so in 3.1 overs to register a nine-wicket win.

Updated WTC points table: Pakistan gain one place
Pakistan's win has taken their points percentage (PCT) from 25.93 to 33.33, and has pushed them up one spot to seventh in the table. Bangladesh are now second-last, with West Indies still at the bottom.
England remain in sixth place in the table, just above Pakistan, but the gap between the sides has narrowed as their PCT has gone down from 43.06 to 40.79.
Realistically, neither side will make it to the top two but both of them do have the slightest of slight chances, mathematically speaking.
