The Pakistan-England Test series will begin on October 7 and here’s the full list of commentators and presenters for the PAK vs ENG 2024 tour.
The three-match Test series will begin in Multan on Monday, with the next two games scheduled for October 15 and October 24. The Multan Cricket Stadium will host the first two Tests of the series, while the last match will be played in Rawalpindi.
The upcoming series will be of utmost importance to both teams as they look to keep their hopes of a place in the World Test Championship final alive. Both Pakistan and England have a slim chance of playing in the Lord's final next year but they would want to maximise their opportunities.
Team updates and squads
The touring team have named Ben Stokes in the 17-member squad even as the skipper recovers from an injury. Zak Crawley, who hasn’t played a Test since July, is also still recovering but has been named in place of Dan Lawrence. England have also selected uncapped players Brydon Carse and Jordan Cox for the tour. To find the latest updates, see the full England squad news.
On the other hand, Pakistan have picked Noman Ali for the first time in over a year in the Test team. Aamer Jamal has replaced Khurram Shahzad, who is currently injured, in the squad that Shan Masood will lead.
