Shaheen Shah Afridi nicks off a Bangladesh batter and celebrates by rocking his arms

Watch: Shaheen Shah Afridi brought out the "rock the baby" celebration after becoming a father during the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.

Shaheen and his wife, Ansha, welcomed their first child, a baby boy, today. The couple named the newborn Ali Yar. The star pacer is expected to leave for Karachi on Sunday after the completion of the first Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.

Having missed the birth of his child due to national duties, Shaheen finally found a breakthrough in the 167th over. He swung a length ball away from Hasan Mahmud, who tried to play a long heave but eventually ended up edging to wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan for an 18-ball duck.

He celebrated the wicket by rocking an imaginary baby in his arms, embracing the joy of becoming a father. Shaheen finished the innings with 2-88. Bangladesh batters made the hosts toil on a placid wicket, with Mushfiqur Rahim making a 341-ball 191, taking their first innings score to 565 with a 117-run lead. The match is likely heading towards a draw with only a day left.
