Bangladesh recorded a memorable Test series against Pakistan - here are the player ratings for the visiting team after their 2-0 win.

Shadman Islam: 7/10

136 runs @ 45.33, HS: 93

Shadman impressed in the first innings of the first Test, holding one end up as the Pakistan seamers were getting the ball to move around. He struck a 183-ball 93, laying the foundation for a lead. He also took his time in the run chase in the second Test and ensured his team did not lose early wickets in a tricky run chase.

Zakir Hasan: 3/10

68 runs @ 22.66, HS: 40

Hasan led the way in the second innings of the second Test, making a quick 40 in 39 balls, putting back the pressure on the opposition bowlers as they tried to stay alive in the series.

Najmul Hossain Shanto: 4/10

58 runs @ 19.33, HS: 38

Not much contribution with the bat for skipper Shanto, but he deserves extra marks for his captaincy, taking his team to their first overseas series win featuring more than one Test for the first time since 2009.

Mominul Haque: 4/10

85 runs @ 28.33, HS: 50

Mominul made a 76-ball 50 in the first innings after his team had lost two early wickets. He also made an important 34 in the series winning-run chase in the second Test, making 57 with Mushfiqur Rahim.

Mushfiqur Rahim: 9/10

216 runs @ 108, HS: 191

Rahim, arguably Bangladesh’s best batter in Test history, made a fine 191 in 341 balls in the first Test, with his knock taking Bangladesh to a huge innings lead. He also remained unbeaten in the run chase with an unbeaten 22 in the second game.

Shakib Al Hasan: 4/10

38 runs @ 19, HS: 21*
5 wickets @ 38.40, BBI: 3-44

The all-rounder, who is facing an FIR for his alleged involvement in a murder, put behind his off-field issues, playing a big part in the victory in the first Test. He picked up 3-44 in the second innings, helping dismiss the hosts for 146. There wasn't much to show with the bat, however.

Litton Das: 9/10

194 runs @ 94.7, HS: 138

Das played one of the best Test knocks in recent times in the second Test. Batting at No.7, he walked out with the scorecard reading 26-5, which soon became 26-6. He batted with caution, navigating the situation superbly en route to a masterful 138. It turned out to be one of the major highlights of the series.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz: 10/10

10 wickets @ 18.60, BBI: 5-61
155 runs @ 77.50, HS: 78

Miraz showed he could take over the spin all-rounder duties from Shakib this series, with a brilliant all-round performance. He picked wickets in crucial moments and also made 78 after his team lost six wickets for just 26 runs in the first innings of the second Test.

Taskin Ahmed: 7/10

4 wickets @ 24.25, BBI: 3-57

Taskin only played the second Test and left a mark straightaway - he dismissed Abdullah Shafique in the first over of the game and then returned to send back Saud Shakeel and Agha Salman, both of whom were looking dangerous.

Hasan Mahmud: 7/10

8 wickets @ 24.12, BBI: 5-43

Mahmud, playing his first overseas series, picked up five wickets in the second innings of the last Test. Overall, he was Bangladesh’s second-highest wicket-taker.

Nahid Rana: 7/10

6 wickets @ 39.50, BBI: 4-44

Nahid dismissed Shan Masood, Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel in three successive overs in the second innings of the second Test, bowling out Pakistan for 172. He impressed with his pace, even touching 152kmph on day four.

Shoriful Islam: 5/10

3 wickets @ 32.33, BBI: 2-77

Shoriful missed the second game due to an injury. In the only match he played, he was accurate and made run-scoring difficult.
